Project description:

The international OMD (Optimal Management of Demand) project, implemented with European Union and national funding, aims to develop a general client request management system that serves multiple sectors simultaneously, capable of automatically and cost-effectively assigning tasks to the most suitable staff. The system is based on artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing methods. The product is intended for use in several independent fields, including healthcare, justice, e-commerce, consumer electronics, and software development.

FrontEndART Ltd. participates in the international project with a specific use case focused on software development, supported by the University of Szeged. The goal is to develop a system that can assign tasks for fixing source code errors optimally, considering similar errors and each developer's relevant experience, skills, and current workload, thereby minimizing maintenance time and costs. The tool to be developed will be based on artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, capable of distributing source code maintenance tasks optimally among developers according to various criteria. Beyond optimal task assignment, an important feature of the tool is the ability to continuously improve and refine the applied models based on developer feedback. By combining structured data from static code analysis and/or developer activity logs with unstructured data on developer attitudes, mainly in natural language form, a data-driven developer profile can be created, greatly contributing to the efficient and accurate operation of the task assignment system. The adoption of this tool will not only improve FrontEndART Ltd.'s internal operations (making the maintenance and repair of its own software more cost-effective) but could also serve as the foundation for new services offered by FrontEndART Ltd. in the long term.
